ACIDIC CLEANER & WIDE SPECTRUM DISINFECTANT FOR MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS
DESCRIPTION:
ACI QUAT is a wide spectrum cleaner & disinfectant and is efficient against : virus, bacteria, yeast, mold and algae. ACI QUAT removes inorganics (i.e. scale) and blood from medical equipments while killing microorganisms. ACI QUAT is approved by Health Canada and Agriculture Canada as a wide spectrum disinfectant. ACI QUAT belongs to a family of Poly-Quaternary compounds that are environmentally friendly.
DILUTON:
ACI QUAT is used in different Canadian establishments at a concentration varying from 0.2% to 1%. However, for a complete control of microorganisms, use ACI QUAT at a concentration of 0.5% (5 mL ACI QUAT in 1 L water). This dilution provides a combination of 4 different Quats, surfactants and phosphoric acid that cleans and controls 99.99% of tested pathogenic microorganisms in 10 minutes. The phenol coefficient experiments were determined with the 10-minutes killing studies; however, ACI QUAT is efficient in less 15 seconds.
TEMPERATURE:
The variation of temperature does not affect the efficiency of ACI QUAT.
ADVANTAGES:
ACI QUAT is a 2 in 1 product. It is a great cleaner cleaning contamination from equipments and providing a synergistic action of 6 different actives against microorganisms. ACI QUAT contains 4 PolyQuats mixed in phosphoric acid and nonionic surfactants. ACI QUAT is even approved as no-rinse food contact disinfectant if used at a concentration of 0.2% or below.
APPLICATION:
Operation and Emergency Room:
ACI QUAT is used to clean and disinfect medical instruments and surfaces. ACI QUAT is diluted at a concentration of 0.5% and used for room temperature cleaning and disinfection of medical instruments prior to heat sterilization.
OTHER ADVANTAGES
ACI QUAT is effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aerus and Streptococcus pyogenes.
ACI QUAT is effective against Influenza A / Brazil (Influenza) and Trichophyton mentagrophytes (Athlete's foot fungus). It is a great Hospital cleaner and disinfectant that is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and viruses including HIV-1, the AIDS Virus and Hepatitis B Virus and Hepatitis C virus.
ACI QUAT meets AOAC efficacy standards for hospital disinfectants.
ACI QUAT is effective against Avian Infectious Bronchitis Virus, Avian Influenza Virus, Canine Distemper Virus, Newcastle's Disease Virus and Pseudorarabies Virus.
